Jacob Musgrove (They/He) is a queer writer and director based in New York City. Their directing credits include Someone Else's Child by Kate Crabtree, which won the Audience Choice Award at the 2025 New York Fringe Festival, Fox on the Fairway by Ken Ludwig at Princeton Summer Theatre, Lungs by Duncan MacMillan and Small Mouth Sounds by Bess Wohl at Southern Plains Productions, and Woyzeck by Georg Büchner (adapted by the director) at Carnegie Mellon University. His professional writing credits include Scarlet Goes to Space, Grady's First Day at Super School, and Preston & the Great British Baking Adventure at Chickenshed NYC as a part of their educational Adventures from the Shed series. 

 

He is currently in pre-production for his debut short film, Soup, and working to produce their original play, grief_and_other-things, in the Rogue Theater Festival in New York this August. 

 

Jacob holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama from Carnegie Mellon University.
